Dominic Hale is the Research Editor at SearPost, covering high-heat cooking and carbon steel cookware. He builds each guide from manufacturer specifications, UK and US retailer listings and reports from named independent testers, and ties each fact to its source. SearPost does not test products in-house, so his guides focus on what can be checked: materials, thickness where stated, hob and oven compatibility, seasoning and care requirements.
